ZeroG Commander is set in the near future in which the player controls a faction that seeks to break through and develop in an unexplored galaxy. It will compete with other players in a gigantic persistent universe that is procedurally generated. The player will control all aspects of his faction, such as economics, industry, research, army and diplomacy.

It is a strategy game in which planning and long-term thinking prevail. It has queues and automatic systems to avoid that the player has to be permanently attentive to the game.
